About OK TOAD!

I started this website as an outlet for my various creative sides. I have been painting and illustrating for several years, and have been heavily influenced by neodada, Fluxus, and pop art. At the same time I love science and nature, so these themes often intermingle.

The knitting started as a direct result of being in a touring band (Casper & the Cookies) and needing something to keep my fidgety self occupied. Illustrations in the moving van didn't work well, and I tend to get carsick if I read...so I taught myself to knit. I sell my work because I have limited space and I keep on knitting.

The name OK Toad! comes from my nickname (Okay) and my favorite animal (toads). There you have it.
